Sulfur water - Sulfur water is a condition where the running water contains a high amount of oxygen sulfide gas that escapes into the air when the plumbing line is opened. This gives a distinct "rotten egg" smell.
Gear oil - Gear oil is a motor oil made specifically for transmissions, transfer cases, and differentials in automobiles, trucks, and other machinery. It is of a higher viscosity to better protect the gears and usually is associated with a strong sulfur smell.
